Integrated project for a holistic approach to community health, education, sanitation, gender and climate action issues: The project seeks to address health, education, sanitation, gender and climate (SDGs 3, 4, 5, 6 and 13) under one project to provide a holistic solution to a given community’s development needs. The project proposal and budget are available.

Friends of Soroptimist: to create a support base for our projects, initiatives and activities through a network of friendspersonalities who share our beliefs, ideals and goals but do not have the time or desire to become fully-fledged members of the Club.
Training in CardioPulmonary Rescucitation (CPR) for organized groups : in collaboration with ……., provide first aid training for organized groups of students and workers in the Greater Accra region. Project started and stalled due to COVID-19.

OUR TRACK RECORD
2017-19: on-going (operational) projects
Assistance to the Pediatric Oncology Unit (POU), Department of Child Health, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Accra, addressed the lack of equipment and trained personnel which has stalled the establishment of a functional Intensive Care Unit at the Pediatric Oncology Unit. The project is ongoing.
Reproductive Health Education and Introduction of Reusable Sanitary Pads (RSP), Akuapem South: addressed, in collaboration with the District authorities,the problems of rural school girls non-access to disposable sanitary pads and their lack of knowledge about reproductive health and menstrual hygiene by organizing educational workshops and distribution of Reusable Sanitary Pads to 1900 girls in four communities. Improved girl-child school attendance; girls no longer skip school during their menstrual period.
Biofil Toilet Facility for girls: Dodowa Presbyterian Primary and Junior High School: problem of poor sanitation in the school and poor girl-child school attendance addressed through provision of a 10-seater biofil toilet/sanitation facility/changing room for girls. Training on use and intervention for provision of improved facilities for boys by the school PTA. The project has been completed and handed over to the beneficiary institution. Main activities completed. Project is in the six-month post-project monitoring and evaluation phase. Follow up on PTA intervention for boys is ongoing.
Boreholes for water – 3 locations in Akuapem South (: Project for the sinking of boreholes for provision of potable water to two schools and one village implemented with funding from GOIL Ghana Limited is almost completed.
Norwegian Scholarship Scheme for vocational training :funding assistance for 2-5 vocational training students per year. This is a collaborative effort with SI Norway

- Dodowa Biofil Toilet/Sanitation Facility: provision of 10-seater toilet facility for 351 girls of Dodowa Presbyterian 2 Basic and Junior Secondary School
- Assin Kyinaso : provision of 22-seater/12 shower cubicle sanitation facility for the people of Assin Kyinaso
- GOIL collabloration: boreholes in 2 communities in Amasaman District Ga Rural, Greater Accra region (Sarpeiman & Pobikope,).
- School library and IT support: Maale Dada, Labadi, Greater Accra
- University of Ghana – Rehabilitation of Balme Library, Braille section and audio equipment
- University of Cape Coast –audio equipment
- Okuapeman Secondary School – established computer centre for the blind students
- Martha Ayittey – visually-impaired child adopted by the club and educated from kindergarten to Teacher-training college. She is now a primary school teacher.
